The flame from the burner is applied for 10 s to the surface or the bottom of textile specimens which are vertically oriented.

The apparatus can be updated to meet the requirements of ISO6941, ISO 6940, etc by using different specimen holders.
VFT ISO 15025 Flexible Materials Vertical Flame Spread Test Apparatus consists of a mounting frame, gas burner, and test specimen holder with supporting pins.
The angle of the burner can be pre-setted and adjusted automatically.
Burning time can be pre-setted and operate automatically.
Burning time and glowing time are recorded and can be read on an LCD screen.
