OSU STM D906 Materials Heat and Visible Smoke Release Rate Tester

Introduction:
The OSU ASTM D906 Materials Heat and Visible Smoke Release Rate Tester is mainly composed of an adiabatic outer box, an electric heating radiation device, an ignition device, and a constant temperature and current device.

During the test, air passes through the enclosure at a constant flow rate from the inlet, and the data acquisition system records the air inlet and outlet temperatures as well as the box wall temperature, and calculates the heat release rate based on the energy per unit of exposed surface.
OSU heat release rate tester can also determine toxic gases such as CO, CO2, NOx, HCN, Hbr, HCL, etc. by adding an FTIR Fourier infrared flue gas toxicity testing device.

Main Features:
1. The OSU ASTM D906 Materials Heat and Visible Smoke Release Rate Tester adopts a stainless steel combustion test chamber with a high-temperature glass observation window;
2. The heat radiation source is 4 Glowbars heating rods, which can provide 35KW/M2 heat radiation flux.
3. Two independent PID temperature controllers are used for heating temperature control.
4. The OSU heat release rate tester is equipped with a fully automatic pneumatic sample propulsion device and shielding door device;
5. It has an upper burner and a movable lower burner;
6. A rotor flow meter can be used to adjust the gas flow rate of upper and lower burners.
7. The OSU heat release rate tester is equipped with a movable T-type calibration burner device and flow controller;
8. Mass flow controller is applied to thermopile temperature calibration automatically.
9. The Water-cooled heat flow meter is equipped with a cooling mode to measure the heat radiation flux of the fire surface.
10. The air temperature control device can provide constant temperature and flow of air for the test chamber.
11. The orifice flowmeter is used to measure the flow pressure entering the test bin.
12. The OSU heat release rate tester is equipped with a data acquisition system and heat release standard test software.
