XZ Hipot Tester Series Frequency Variable Series Resonance Test System is composed by a control cabinet, excitation transformer, high voltage reactor, a high voltage divider. There are two kinds of control cabinets, more than 20KW is a console, less than 20KW is a portable case; it is composed of controller and filter device.
Its main function is to change 380V or 200V (the amplitude and frequency are fixed) frequency sine wave AC power into sine wave (amplitude and frequency are adjustable), and supply power for the whole system.
The function of the excitation transformer is to boost the output voltage of the power source to the proper measured voltage. High voltage reactor L is an important component of the resonant loop, it with measured equipment CX in serial resonant when the power frequency=1/(2π )
